My Story
When I arrived in Canada in 2015 with my 6.5-year-old son, I experienced firsthand what it truly means to navigate a new school system in a new country — the challenges, the uncertainty, and the tremendous power of an inclusive school community.
Today, my son is 18 and charting his own path forward. My daughter, 7, is in the very school system I want to serve. I understand the hopes and concerns of families across Wards 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 — because I have lived them.
As President of Hindu Legacy and an active community builder, I have spent years bridging cultures, supporting newcomers, and advocating for families. Now I want to bring that same dedication to the TVDSB Board of Trustees.

I'm running because I believe in equity, accountability, and community voice in public education. Our schools should reflect the richness of our community.
